Legacy

Opening in September of 2023, ICON Modern Art Gallery wasted no time changing the Pensacola art community and building our legacy. As a modern art museum, we often don’t dwell on the past, but we don’t forget it either. Help us build our legacy together as we strive to become the preeminent modern art gallery on the Gulf Coast.

Pop Art

“Pop Art” was massively British, then American. Artists in the 1950s and 1960s borrowed imagery from popular culture, including television, comics, and advertisements to challenge traditional values. Let today’s modern “popular culture” inspire you.

Lindsay Keeling

Vibrant Serenity

"Vibrant Serenity" was an abstract art exhibition by Lindsay Keeling. Her abstract landscapes captured the peaceful feeling of looking off into the distance, no matter the scenery. Lindsay plays with vibrant colors and contrasts to create a glow along the horizon. Visitors felt grounded and inspired when they looked at nature through her lens.

Herstory

March’s art exhibition “Herstory” was a positive exhibition focusing on the accomplishments, challenges, and boundaries that females have overcome throughout history and the journey ahead.

Jeanne Legrand

"Finding Eden: A Memento Mori"

A perfect mix of whimsical fantasy meets iconic historical figures from Marie Antionette to Grace Jones to Édith Piaf. This was a must-see in March.

Better Than 1

Better Than 1 was a diptych exhibition. Some things pair effortlessly because you can’t have one without the other. Others pair together simply because they are opposites needed to exist. We showed you our diptychs.
